Harpreet has been a Senior Counsel of the Supreme Court for more than a decade having been appointed in 2007. He was an equity partner at Drew & Napier LLC before joining UK magic circle firm Clifford Chance in 2012as global partner and concurrent managing partner of its formal law alliance Singapore law practice.

A former Justice's Law Clerk and graduate of Harvard Law School, Harpreet's main areas of practice involve international arbitration and complex commercial litigation across a wide spectrum of disputes including banking and finance, oil and gas, company law, equity and trusts. Harpreet has also been appointed as independent reviewer by the Monetary Authority of Singapore ("MAS") to investigate an international bank in relation to a corruption scandal relating to a foreign state-owned investment corporation.

Harpreet has been consistently ranked in both Legal500 and Chambers & Partners as a recognised litigation and arbitration practitioner. He has been described in various editions of Legal500 as "A 'star'" and "first-rate" . WhosWho Legal 2022 describes Harpreet as "one of the best litigators in the Singaporean space due to his impeccable dispute resolution practice" and ranks him a Global Thought Leader for Commercial Litigation 2023. The Chambers Asia Pacific 2023 edition ranks Harpreet as a "Band 1" litigator.

He was appointed by the Minister-in-Charge of MAS to the Appeal Advisory Panels under the Business Trusts Act, Financial Advisers Act, Insurance Act, Securities and Futures Act and Trust Companies Act from 2019 to 2023. He also sits on the Disciplinary and Appeals Committees for SGX, the front-line regulator of Singapore's capital markets.

Harpreet Singh Nehal SC

Jordan Tan

Jordan graduated from the National University of Singapore's Law Faculty in 2008 with first class honours, winning the Adrian Clarke Memorial Medal and Singapore Academy of Law Award for being the top student in the final year exams.

He regularly appears at all court-levels. He has been appointed amicus curiae twice including by a 3-Judge High Court chaired by the Chief Justice in a landmark case which is now the locus classicus on the exercise of judicial mercy in criminal cases. He has also acted successfully in various complex commercial litigation, including acting as lead counsel for the alleged majority shareholders of a family company with assets in excess of S$100 million and for an international bank which was sued for hundreds of millions in losses from alleged fraud.

 

He is ranked for Dispute Resolution: Litigation in the Chambers Asia Pacific 2024 edition which describes him as a "well-reputed name in the Singapore litigation scene" with an "excellent grasp of the law" as well as being "user-friendly and intelligent". He is ranked as a "Litigation Star" in Benchmark Litigation's 2023 edition and also in Legal500 (2019 and 2020 editions) which described him as "smart, professional, persuasive, organised and a future SC."

He was a former Supreme Court Justices' Law Clerk and Assistant Registrar where he headed the Registry's Court of Appeal desk and was coordinating-editor of Court of Appeal judgments. Thereafter, he practised at a magic circle firm.

He is a member of the main committee of the Singapore Academy of Law's Law Reform Committee and Professional Affairs Committee chaired by Supreme Court Judges and the Deputy Attorney-General. He was also appointed by the Minister for National Development to the Appeals Board of the Council for Estate Agencies from 2022 to 2025.

Victor graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2016 with first class honours, winning multiple academic and advocacy prizes along the way. In 2018, Victor won the Essex Court Chambers - Singapore Academy of Law International Mooting Competition.

 

Victor was  a former Justices' Law Clerk of the Supreme Court and a Deputy Public Prosecutor in the Criminal Justice Division of the Attorney-General’s Chambers.

 

Thereafter, Victor practised in the litigation department of one of the largest law firms in Singapore, where he regularly appeared at all court levels.  He has successfully acted in complex commercial litigation, including cross-border asset tracing and cryptocurrency-related disputes, amongst others.  He also has experience in white collar and investigations work.

 

Victor has been appointed to the Supreme Court of Singapore’s Young Amicus Curiae Scheme for 2020. He has also taught as an adjunct tutor at Law Faculty of the National University of Singapore.

Damien Chng

Counsel

Damien graduated Magna cum Laude from the Singapore Management University in 2017. He was a former Justices’ Law Clerk of the Supreme Court, where he assisted judges in cases spanning a variety of areas such as administrative law, construction law, corporate law, conflicts of laws, criminal law and procedure, equity and trusts and international arbitration.

 

Thereafter, Damien trained and practised at a leading boutique dispute resolution firm in Singapore where he represented clients or assisted with cases involving commercial, corporate, construction, private wealth and insolvency disputes at all court levels.

Lim Jun Heng

Counsel

Lim Jun Heng graduated from the National University of Singapore with first class honours in 2020 and also served as President of the National University of Singapore's Students Law Club. He previously trained and practised in one of the large local firms and thereafter in a US law firm's venture capital practice. He has experience in a wide variety of work including oil and gas arbitrations and venture capital matters.
